PURPOSE

Have you had other youth workers ask you questions like ''How is your youth ministry going? How do you keep your youth interested? How do you stay focused in your ministry?
If one youth worker has questions like this, there are many more out there with the same questions.
Beginning January 2007, Youth Leaders Unified (YLU) is an exciting much needed organization of youth leaders that will come together six times a year to be re-energized and motivated. Each meeting will offer learning and development spiritually, personally and within your ministry.
It's been said, ''It's about time ; there is a great need for youth workers to connect with each other for mutual support and to share ideas and resources.
''
We must remember that we are that children, youth and young adults are ''beloved children of God'' ''masterpieces of God's creation'' and you are ''called by God'' to teach and lead them.
It is hard work. But it takes a village to raise a child. If we become a community of youth leaders we can be that village and make a giant impact in winning souls for Christ and at the same time growing spiritually in our individual spiritual walk.
YLU's movement is helping youth Leaders and workers become more effective in reaching youth for Christ. It is a community creating bonds among youth workers as they seek to increase their own faith while helping to shape the faith of youth they lead.
As this movement grows, the result will be people networking, sharing ideas, producing energy, yielding valuable content, and the growth of leaders. Members can expect:
