Welcome to the website for the Forest Knoll Civic Association (FKCA). Forest Knoll is a residential community built in the 1990's. It lies nestled within the Wellington Woods subdivision and borders Wellington Drive between Kings Bridge Court and Concord Drive in Newark, Delaware.

The Forest Knoll Civic Association is a voluntary group made up of Forest Knoll homeowners whose vision is to have a community that is aesthetically pleasing with residents living in harmony. Members of the FKCA help keep our neighborhood strong and informed of what's going on in our community.

The Forest Knoll Annual Membership Drive begins July 1, 2012. Dues are $40 for each household in Forest Knoll for the 2012-2013 membership year.  Homeowners can mail or drop off payment to our Association Treasurer, Steve Booker at 3 Tarcote Court, or anyFKCA Board member or Street Representative. For the FKCA member list, please click on our Contact Information. 

If mailing payment, do not send Cash. Please make your check or money order payable to FKCA. 

WIN, WIN, WIN!!!

At the September 13, 2012 community meeting, (location TBD), we will raffle off a $100 (ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS!) ShopRite gift card for a PAID FKCA homeowner.  However, you must be PRESENT at this meeting to win. Homeowners whose dues have not been paid by the meeting date, can make payment at the meeting.

At the Forest Knoll Civic Association annual meeeting on June 21, 2012 held at Troop Two State Police Barracks, the 2012-2013 board members were voted in and confirmed.

Please keep your yard beautiful and your grass trimmed...It is imperative to maintain the value and desirability of our neighborhood, AND it is violation of New Castle County.  Should your lawn reach an unacceptable length, New Castle County will issue a citation and fine.

If you rather pay to have your grass trimmed, feel free to contact one of Forest Knoll students.

To report an unkempt lawn, call (302) 395-5555, or click New Castle County Property Code Violations .  Please be a good neighbor and only use this method for a constantly negligent  resident or vacant property!

As of June 15, 2012, door-to-door salespersons are required to display a Salesperson Identifixcation Card.  The door-to-door Salesperson ID card does not apply to persons working on behalf of a non-profit, conducting home sales events (real estate), public utility and cable television system operators, or persons soliciting through door drop or fliers. The Survey is to gauge activities and family interests that you would like to have in your Forest Knoll Community. The results of the survey will be reviewed in our September 13, 2012 community meeting.
