Old Business:

It was moved by Donnie, seconded by Vicki, that J.C. Speagle of Best Stamp replace all 17 of our street sign posts at a cost of $50 per 10-foot post,.  This was approved..  He will wait for us to identify all signs that need to be replaced.

MSD will be increasing the rip-rap along the back lake to 1422 feet in addition to the extra two-hundred being added at the west end of the back lake.

The lakes look good, but vegetation is growing up among some of the rock.  Charles will ask P&R for an estimate for spraying around both lakes, and Donnie will get some estimates from neighbors who would like to bid on this work.  Charles  will look and compare by next Tuesday.  The best price will get the job.

New Business

512 Sam has a tree with its branch hanging onto the sidewalk.  Charles may request that the sidewalk be kept clear.

Charles will be distributing the newsletter between now and our next meeting in October.  In that, he can encourage homeowners to clean out their backyard ditches.  He will also remind residents of the October 3 Neighborhood-wide Yard Sale and the October 17 Annual Meeting to be held at 9:00 a.m at Epiphany United Methodist Church on Southside Drive..

Vicki will ask MSD to look at the backyard ditches in the subdivision, checking for yard ditches clogged with trees and weeds.  These neglected ditches could cause flooding if they are not cleared.

Penrod charged YNMA $352 to repair fences damaged by last year's storms

Charles will contact Liberty Insurance, agent Edward Frank, to get an explanation of the coverage we are paying for on our two lakes..  Next May, we will look at trying to get a better price and adequate coverage.
