SURVEY REVEALS DESIRE FOR "SENSE OF COMMUNITY"

The 2000 Washington Park Neighborhood Survey results WILL be one of the topics of discussion at the March 15th meeting. (Unfortunately the results could not be presented on January 19th as anticipated, but the good news is that 47 additional surveys were received after that meeting, for a total of 163.) Your WPE Neighborhood Association Steering Committee members have read the surveys and are compiling the results. Also on the agenda are Representative Susan Barnes-Gelt who will present Denver City Council news, updates from the District 3 Community Resource Officer, and the Denver Recycles Program.

Our next regular bimonthly meeting following our March meeting is scheduled for Wed., May 17th. All meetings are held at the Denver Academy beginning at
