The SMCCA sent a digital photo to the Bureau of Street Services to depict improper repair of location where the pressure plate was removed nearly 20 years ago. The housing for the rubberized actuator was removed on December 31 and the hole properly filled and the site cleaned up. The pad adjacent to Canyon School also was removed and repaired on January 2, 2003. Signal activation is now accomplished through the use of "magnetic loop detectors" implanted in the street. The location is near 368 Entrada Drive.
