Welcome to the Neighborhood

Jon:

Welcome to the neighborhood (a little late!) My fiance and I own 1407 Morton and also have been working towards moving in soon. We are waiting for our certificate of occupancy. Hopefully by the end of the week. Anyway, to answer some of your questions, I will ask around the board for a reputable company for gutters. Lots of folks have that issue in this neighborhood, and we are currently trying to get a list of good and bad contractors for the area. Also, the signs were the response to an issue that came up earlier this year. The OHNA was pushing for turning the original highlands into a historic preservation district. The issue has since been tabled, as there was much uproar and division from the community, both for and against. Please let me know if I can provide any information about the neighborhood, and or community. Newsletters will be coming out soon, and for your information, board meetings happen every third Monday of the month at Metropolitan Community Church on Highland Ave at 7p.m. All are welcome. if you are interested in joining the neighborhood association, please email me and I will send you a membership form. Look forward to seeing you in the neighborhood. Andi
