On Sunday evening my daughter and I were in my garage when 2 stray dogs came in and walked up to us. Concerned I told my 5 yr old to go inside, but the would not let her, so i grabbed each one by the collar so she could go in the house, then I proceeded after her. As soon as I got in i thought about my cat and ran back into the garage and each dog had already attacked him each having a hind leg in their mouth flipping him around. I yelled and kicked them to let him him go, but the just hung on and back away, so I grabbed a plastic chair and started hitting them until they let go....they ran off and I called animal control. I took my cat to the vet and they did what they could, but today we had to put him down, cuz he was not improving. My son called me this morning from the bus stop to tell me the same 2 dogs were running around again. I immdeiately called animal control again. They told me my report was closed because they drove around, but did not see the dogs the other day. I told her they were there again. We lost not only a pet, but part of our family as well, because of someone's carelessness. Not only could my daughter have gotten attacked, but myself as well. I won't let my kids go in the front yard and I am scared for my son to be at the bus stop in the mornings, because of the ficious attack on my pet an image that I can't get out of my head. It's a solid brown dog that favors a pitbull and a brown and white dog. Please be cautious if u see them.

thanks for the heads up, i'm so sorry to hear about your cat. that's devastating. i actually think i've seen these dogs around but didn't pay much attention. i'll make sure to contain them next time and get animal control out here. that is so scary. i'm so sorry for your loss.

You are a pathetic excuse for a human being....I'm sorry you are so inconsiderate to what happened and how it affected my kids, so your stupid comment about "I would seriously hate to be one of your children" has nothing to do with my post. . Keep your freaking comments to yourself since you weren't there and aren't aware that 1 of the dogs chased my 5 yr old and might have attacked her too had I not grabbed it by the collar.
