The City of Phoenix provides free year-round golf classes to youths 8-17 years old. PGA professionals provide all instruction at six of Phoenix's municipal golf courses - Encanto, Papago, Maryvale, Cave Creek, Palo Verde and Aguila.
The program is open to all Phoenix residents and targets youth from minority and lower socio-economic backgrounds to introduce them to the sport. For more information, contact Louis Adams, youth golf coordinator at 602-534-6065.
