NO PARKING on Unpaved Vacant Lots

Did you know that the owners of vacant lots can be cited and fined when vehicles are parked on unpaved portions of their property.

The city discourages the use of vacant lots for parking because dust created from the vehicles can be a nuisance and a health hazard - not to mention an eye-sore, in the community.

Lot owners can help by calling 602-534-3567 and registering their property with the Neighborhood Services Department, which then can erect ?“No Parking?’ signs on the property. Police, however, can ticket vehicles parked on unimproved lots regardless of the presence of the signs.
