Don’t leave your junk outside

To people who leave old furniture, mattresses, appliances and other stuff too big for regular trash collection out on the street (curbside) hoping that someone will randomly pick them up. Please respect your neighborhood and others—if the items are in decent condition, call the an organization to pick them up or take them there; if they’re too shabby for that, take them to the nearest solid waste station. If you don’t have a vehicle that can do this, you can call Bexar Waste at 210.304.2787 to schedule a bulk item pick-up. Remember that you aren't just violating our Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions, but Schertz Municipal Code--and they can cite/fine you. You can file an anonymous complaint to the city by contacting them at 311.
