District 3 Initiates First Wednesday Citizen Advisory Meetings: About 30 people attended the first Citizen Advisory meeting on February 2nd. Representatives from several neighborhoods, including Virginia Vale, West Washington Park, and Washington Park East, and from Charlie Brown?’s office were in attendance. In addition to presenting the latest crime statistics in our district, the Police also discussed their efforts to encourage participation in the Neighborhood Watch Program. The District 3 Police will hold these citizen advisory meetings monthly on the first Wednesday of the month at 6 PM in the Community Room of the new station building at 1625 S. University Boulevard. The meeting is open to all who are interested. The next meeting will be Wednesday, March 2nd at 6 PM.
