Merrill Middle School Shares the Spirit of the Season: Merrill students and staff participated in a ?“Giving Tree?” for Sacred Heart House (a home for the homeless) this month ?– donations included food, clothing, toys and a Christmas tree for the house. Merrill also collected two boxes of food as part of the Colorado Shares Program. The food was donated to two families-in-need within the Merrill community. And finally, the cards and other mementos collected at Merrill after the September 11th tragedy in New York were sent to Mayor Rudy Giuliani the week of Thanksgiving.
