Did you know that your District Three Community Resource Officer can conduct a residential security survey of your home? Some of the tips to increase security of your residence include: 1) trim shrubs and bushes within four feet of sidewalks, driveways, door or gates to a height of not more than two feet; 2) keep your garage door locked at all times; 3) use a "Charlie Bar" to secure sliding glass doors; and 4) provide adequate exterior lighting.
