2002 Summer Street Sweeping runs through November. Because Washington Park East is a ?“Non-Posted free sweep area?”, your car is not ticketed if it has not been moved for sweeping. The disadvantage is the schedule, available at www.denvergov.org, is not crystal clear. For example: 3rd Monday of each month - Alameda to I-25 - Franklin to University Blvd. (one side of streets, one side of avenues) - All streets and avenues - Exposition to Mississippi - University to Steele. 4th Monday of each month - Alameda to I-25 - Franklin to University Blvd. (one side of streets, one side of avenues) - All streets and avenues - Exposition to Mississippi - Steele to Colorado Blvd. A call to 720/865-6855 Public Works indicated that only the foreman knows which side of the street will be swept, east or west, on the 3rd and 4th Mondays, so if you live within these areas it?’s best to move your car on both days to take advantage of the sweeping program.
