SAVE OUR SHADE - Denver Water reminds citizens that due to the drought it is more important than ever to water trees and shrubs this fall and winter at least one or two times per month, depending on the weather. Water deeply and slowly with a deep root fork or needle, soaker hose, or soft spray wand. Apply water (10 gallons for each inch of the tree?’s diameter) within the critical root zone.
